An informal learning approach to learning often means that students learn in groups, rather than as a whole class with teacher standing at the front. I think group learning is beneficial because you can learn from talking to other students. If you are alone all the time, you only have your own ideas to work with, whereas group leaning helps you expand your mind and appreciate a range of ideas. Generally, this is more interesting than working independently.

Moreover, students used to be passive when learning compare with now they will be more active. In my opinion, I prefer active learning to passive learning as you can ask questions directly when you do not understand what the teacher means. This can provide a better understanding in learning. If you are passive, the lessson will be very boring, and you might not be concentrate enough. Actively learning can also help to develop a better relationship between students and teachers.

Furthermore, in a traditional teaching method, teachers usually teach with written materials instead of using visual ones. From my point of view, visual materials are advantageous because they are more attractive and students will be more focused in class. Other than that, they are more interesting than written materials. Compared with written materials, visual materials are more effective.
